I haven't had the time to read the story from the start yet, but man, your coloring is really incredible. Well, everything is incredible, really, but the colors really stood out to me. I've got a lot to learn!

Yup, I'm well aware of the LEGO folder! Even if it hadn't been a thing, I probably would've given him some anyway; just seems like the kind of thing he'd like.

The font is from Sonic Prime, I recreated it myself, and turned it into an actual font I can use.

I just use Blender. I'm not very good with it, but since I keep everything low poly it doesn't really matter (and low poly is easier to trace over anyway). Wireframe view is especially helpful.

You can see text from the Meme Maker mod I used in the top left of the frame. I couldn't figure out how to remove it so I was like whatever, I'm just gonna draw over it anyway lol

I'm basing the design on what it looks like in TailsTube/Lost World, as well as Prime.

The lab that's shaped like his head is the one in Emerald Town.

And slight spoilers I guess, but this is my homework for chapter 3.

We'll see the hangar where Tails does all his tinkering, and the lab exterior, so I have to finish modeling all that before I can start drawing the next pages. Hopefully I can get it done pretty quick!

This is something I've been meaning to show off, especially since some people have expressed interest in seeing it.

This is how I do my backgrounds, since I'm bad with perspective. Modeled it all myself, aside from some very specific objects (like the Optimus Prime and Gundam on the shelf).

Yeah that's why I'm not up in arms about it, at the end of the day I just want people to read my comic, so the more it spreads the better.

Honestly I'm more insulted that the TikTok describes the story as "Tails' birthday"... Like, come on, at least read it before you steal it!

deviantArt I might also consider; I just want a platform a bit more convenient to read the comic in order. Last time deviantArt kind of jumpscared me about their new generative AI feature, but maybe it's still decent.

I might look into other platforms soon (comicfury, tumblr? idk), but for now all I have is a Bluesky and a Reddit. Anywhere else that's not me.

Haha! I'm also gonna post pages on my Reddit profile, for what it's worth. I don't fully understand how Reddit works, but it seems like only followers would be notified of these.

I just don't want to put the pages standalone on the Sonic subreddits, it's not a great reading experience.

I need to read that, I had someone accuse me of plagiarism when I released the first chapter on Reddit, and I didn't understand. I think this was what they were referring to, as the basic premise seems similar.

That was one of my goals, yeah! Showing that he's still a kid.

I figured his lab would be where all of his tech would be, so for the bedroom I wanted a more traditional kid's bedroom, full of his nerdy hobbies and toys.

And with that, this is officially the end of chapter 2. I'll be posting the entire thing on Reddit in a little bit.

I'm pretty stressed out; I hope it performs okay.

Played it recently and it was a blast! I had heard Rush was amazing (and indeed it was), but Rush Adventure is basically just as good.

Wish we could see Marine again also, she was quite a lot of fun.
