2/2 basically the theory is that since humans became industrialised we have essentially created a system self imposed captivity and hierarchy, that wouldn't exist if we lived in accordance with our "true" nature - it's hard to say with any certainty what we would actually be living like.

I would recommend looking up the studies initially conducted on wolves in zoos - initially we believed that wolves followed a certain pack protocol of an alpha etc, but later learned the wolves studied were only behaving this way bc they were in captivity. They did this with chimps too, 1/2

Literally, we're being worked to death by psychopaths who see us as ants rather than as large apex predators designed to persistence hunt prey in tribes.
