Was planning to open the shop for a bit, but the US has suspended their 'de minimis' exemption that once applied to all orders under $800.

Which means buyers from the US will likely face additional fees upon delivery.

Hoping for a taco because two years of no holiday sales would suck 🙃

We printed the cards in gold foil and they turned out ~so nice~. I wasn't able to get my hands on the actual props, but made a half decent render.

Holy crap. I'm staying in Nanaimo right now and can see Protection Island. I'm hitting the museum tomorrow to learn more.

Sign up type deal. And they usually hand pick who goes. I've honestly just been lucky to find the postings in the past. Light Grey Art Lab used to be the one to watch.

Mostly it's been word of mouth. Or just been lucky to see the postings on social media.

LGAL used to be the go-to but I think they're gone.

I've done a few of these art retreats now and I think my favourite thing is the overwhelming positivity.

Regardless of if you're struggling or nailing a piece, everyone is genuinely stoked to see and we all just mutually want to devour each other's art (in the best way)
