I learned how to make an asset library today for my materials in Blender!

I use a lot of procedural materials when I make 3D art but I’ve never tried to properly organize them.

I think this will speed things up a lot!

Those bricks are really cool! I don’t know the feasibility of using seaweed in Morocco but maybe a similar technique can be adapted there? Probably it’s things like funding reaching through right people that are key, but I’m no expert.

I had fun making a procedural book shelf today using Blender’s geometry nodes system. It’s a fun way of creating a lot of stuff for a scene without having to do everything manually. Admittedly it does get complicated very quickly!

It’s Kiki from animal crossing again! I still gotta fix things up a bit, but I got the posing started now 💜😊

I forgot to add a description. Kiki is a villager in animal crossing. In this fanart she’s wearing a green knitted sweater and standing amongst several globes of light. She isn’t posed yet so she’s looking right at the camera.

I‘m in the process of redoing this one! Kiki was one of the first animal crossing villages I’d worked on and my first attempt was pretty clumsy. There’s some stuff like the lighting that I did like and I want to see what I can keep as I move forward with the do over 💜

Here is a 3D render I did back in 2021 of Raymond from Animal Crossing (ACNH)! He wasn't my favorite character when he first showed up on my island, but he grew on me. When making this render I learned a lot about texture painting, posing, and how to make some basic clothes.
