Thank you for bringing this up! People usually forget that automated testing tools are not a panacea, since even most sophisticated ones cover only a small portion of all #Accessibility violations —and Lighthouse is not even a specialised tool for #a11y testing.

Nowadays, dark mode implementations can be uncomfortable or even harmful for people with some types of disabilities. Good to know that the upcoming version of WCAG will provide this crucial SC as well!
