My home table did their session 0 of Daggerheart using Demiplane and we must have talked for almost 6 hours straight doing character creation. They had so much fun and really had a great band of characters going.

I don't know how anyone can look at the Critical Role situation and not see how this knocks a lot of wind out of Daggerheart's sails. Just reflects a lack of confidence in your own product.

It's really disappointing to see this one singular game continue to dominate every aspect of this industry.

Critical Role not playing Daggerheart is absolutely hilarious. Imagine releasing a game designed to your sensibilities that you make all the money off of, and could break the dragon game stranglehold, and then you don't.

I am starting to run Monsterhearts 2 via StartPlaying. This has become the system I am most known for, so if you'd like an MC with a lot of experience, I'd like to provide that game for you. Three one shot times available currently. Links in next post.

My #GenCon haul is light but good! I picked up Daggerheart of course and also Zephyr by @araukana.bsky.social ! I remember seeing the spreads for Zephyr on Bsky and the art locked me in right away

I met so many people and had some excellent one on one conversations with old friends and new. Not just about "what we can do for each other" but like game design, film theory, and just a love of creative outlets.

I don't know what the future holds but I'm a game designer and I'm here to stay.

Are these games that you're running?

Yes! We had to reload once but we got all super important and lost maybe 3 people. That was wild! Learning that I can shoot the doors open with an arrow helped.

At a playthrough of a 120 hours me and my partner finally beat Baldurs Gate 3. Man, what a finale and accomplished feeling!
