DAY 13: CLAYFACE
I've been a big Fan of the Character since Ron Perlman's stellar performance in B:TAS, so I wanted to pay tribute to that here!
Art by Mike Parobeck & Rick Burchett, Bob Smith & Terry Beatty, Luciano Vecchio, & Norm Breyfogle

So a school, then.
Anyone else find it a bit odd that the CONDUCTOR OF X is fielding questions about X-Men United's launch rather than Eve Ewing herself?
#FizzVsComics #XSpoilers
Yes!! absolutely agree
#xspoilers Storm: Earth’s Mightiest Mutant #2 is such a compelling read!
However, it’s extremely shameful that the final page was left out from the digital version on Amazon.
I feel really bad for the team that worked so hard on this book, really disappointing. #ororospoilers #xmen #comicsky
Instead of trying to figure out the magic number of issues for event comics, perhaps instead they should figure out what readers actually want to see, what excites them, and provide *that.*
Except when fans *do* that, he gets mad at them and tells them they're wrong.
Tom Brevoort's biggest issue appears to be that he is too busy trying to find out what *didn't* work to sort of "cheese" the "right" answer, rather than step down off his high horse and meet the fans where they are.
Couldn’t help myself 🤭😂
I’m absolutely loving the fleshing out and exploration of Megatron’s complexities and motivations as a character
"Why I continue to write about Storm: There are so few Black characters (and writers) with ongoings, and I feel obligated to support something that isn’t for me in the hopes that, eventually, I’ll get something I can call my own." -- the latest from @saintjudejones.bsky.social
Clueless art direction. I’m very surprised they didn’t get an artist with a bigger name for this, especially a first issue of a mainline book.
If you see this, post a character that starts with the letter K
Kwannon aka Psylocke
I miss the level of care, attention, and reverence that Magneto was given by Al Ewing. It was unmatched, and sadly we are poorer without him.

Day 9: Castlevania
Exactly 💀
Exactly. The writer’s decision to have Emma do this just feels extremely ignorant of her very recent history with Sinister.
That’s exactly what I’m getting at. It feels out of character for Magneto and Storm to be silent in these defining moments.
#xspoilers
It’s painfully obvious how this is going to end.
Emma Frost is not a stupid person, nor is she careless or desperate enough to use Sinister tech without thinking about the high possibility it could backfire really badly.
As whiny as Cyclops is, maybe he’s right on this?

X-Men United #1 boasts leading characters like Storm, Magneto and Iceman yet they’re relegated to being literal background characters in the first issue.
Storm alone has zero dialogue!
I could maybe understand that in a third issue, but the first??
That’s a no from me.

• Greymatter Lane doesn’t break new ground like Krakoa does, except for its unique location, and it should.
• The student cast is mid. Those are your best choices?
• The Excelsior X-Men kids are barely qualified to be student mentors
#xspoilers Heavy spoilers for X-Men United #1.
My overall feedback is:
• Not a strong start for a first issue, especially an X-Men one.
• Greymatter Lane is a great concept but I have questions (like what happens to their physical bodies when they’re in the mind palace).

If you see this, post a character that starts with the letter J
Jean Grey aka Phoenix
The fact that Charles did this without consent is absolutely wild lol
Amazing. I’ll be tuning in from New Zealand!
