Best wishes, and hope to see you back really soon!
That's a weird looking swan!
"My" handbag, of course.
Being from Victoria, by handbag has an umbrella in it all year round! I use it as a parasol from time to time.
Hello 2026
Glad to see from the comments that I'm not the only one who has done even less than you!
I had the first 4 cherries off our tree yesterday. Yum!
An interesting read, thank you!
I was there just a couple of weeks ago, on my way home from my Kangaroo Island holiday
I got my drivers licence that day! Took the morning off work to do the test, then after I got to work the news hit and no work was done anyway.
I've always thought whoever named "Red Delicious" apples was a cruel joker. Sure, they are red, but they are nothing like "delicious"!
Congratulations!
I didn't bother with notes, just wagged school for any PE classes.
You're famous!
I guess death will stop him eventually. But then one of his idiot sons will be the new beloved leader.
I don't think you bought a Kaffir (several meanings, some quite unpleasant). The scarf is a Keffiyeh.
I've never seen a rainbow bee eater, but would love to!
I suppose his "bio" does tell us a lot about him, indirectly. 👎
I was travelling in the US when the Moscow olympics were on, and it felt strange because the olympic games never got a mention in the news.
I'm impressed! I haven't put out my moth sheet because of the cold. I considered it last night but it was pouring rain.
Safe travels!
I'm glad ours don't look like that any more. It always made me twitchy that blue was between green and yellow. It should be blue, green yellow!
OK. I was imagining a scenario where one person placed the order. But if people are ordering individually then I guess it makes a (little) more sense.
This is so confusing! Didn't you son have proof of his age? Or does everyone at the table have to be a certain age for anyone to drink alcohol? So the adults in a family can't drink if their kids aren't also adults?
I hope you have a man to carry it if you need to move it around! In one of my early jobs I had an IBM Selectric on my desk, but I wasn't allowed to pick it up because it apparently weighed more than a "girl" could legally lift at work.
"Well done, Angus"
warp
Happy travels!
Changing hemisphere messes with my brain. I always head in the wrong direction because south feels like north - the sun is in the wrong place!
In my calendar already! I run it each year for my area.
Only time I have ever heard of it was in the "Life be in it" campaign which launched in 1975 in Victoria (for anyone old enough to remember). "Hoppo Bumpo" was one of the activities on maybe a print ad, but I had no idea what it was. Grew up and went to school in Vic and NSW.
