Well in Melbourne there are fruit bats, they are huge, loud and messy. I would not want one of them in my house even though they won't kill me unless they are carrying a disease. The bat in my house is a small country bat, about the size of a small mouse. Pretty cute actually. But outside is better.

Loved codes as a kid. Discovered languages and music were elaborate codes. At uni studying German took linguistics unit in German. History of the development of written language starting with pictograms. After I translated my notes into English I then had to get my dictionary out for metalanguage😍

It didn't used to be like this. Early Blue sky was very funny and ultra quirky.
I saw a doco on US beef production. It was disgusting. Cows standing and feeding in faeces right up to their bellies. The abattoirs have to wash the carcasses in ammonia before doing anything.
