Job emailed me yesterday, I didn't get it. I actually knew about it Saturday, and I was really depressed. Took a two hour nap. But I've made peace with it and won't give up. I will however take this time, maybe make some more adjustments with my current job, and do some personal projects.

2. How would I know what 4 and 10 ft look like? And why those arbitrary boundaries?
3. If you're more than 10 ft away and I make eye contact, do I have to start smiling at some point while I approach?

Once again, I got overwhelmed at work. And it would've happened whether or not I actually got 8 hours of sleep. I really hope I get this new job.

Just had a job interview today and the interviewer told me I did great! I hope everything goes well. I'm expected to hear from them Monday.

Today, I had a meltdown at work. I'm okay now, but so much happened in such a short period of time, I couldnt stop myself.

It was solely work doing it, I was about to quit, but I took a break, then a nap during my break, and I finished some of my workload. Not all of it, but that's okay.

I just got some foam for a fursuit head. Things are getting interesting.

Now if that same thing happens to my other social media, like here, no way am I giving them information they don't already have.

I regret to inform people that I did verify my age with YouTube through Google. But that's because if it couldn't determine I was over the age of 13, they would delete my Google account within a month. I cannot have that happen. So I gave Google information they already had access to.

Just got hit with the YouTube age verification thing. Nothing has changed yet. Sure, it did enable the reminders to take a break, but it didn't turn on restricted mode, and I could watch and comment just like normal. So being very cautious here.

Welp, three day weekend is over. Time for six straight days of work. I really hope I can work on stuff, especially next Saturday when I'll be missing a local Pride event and need something else to occupy my mind. At least I'm going in full makeup at work.

Went through five days of backlog and I don't feel that bad afterwards. Cool. Maybe it's because I'm volunteering soon.

What I had to learn is that whenever my paranoia had me believe my friends were just nice to me out of sympathy, I waited for a moment that would prove it. I was never proven right, I knew more about them, made me feel more comfortable with them. Ik it's not your case, but I hope this helps a bit.

Well, I went to my first unofficial Furmeet last night. Had to drive an hour, but it was totally worth it. Can't believe going to the bachelorette party had such a domino effect on me. I'm honestly inspired to do so much more with the life I have left.

You know, one thing that really bugs me is that so much of work requires sticking to a set of behaviors that you must maintain in order to seem "normal/professional". I have a very good memory, can do complex problem solving, but put me in front of a person who's waiting on me, and I choke.

You know, I really want to go to grad school. Not because I want the money or the recognition, but because I really like learning and want to do nothing but that as part of my work. I want to analyze and write essays, books even. Maybe teach.

Autism awareness needs to be overhauled. And I think I know how. Especially now, in the wake of all this "we need a cure" talk. 😒
