I went to the Sompo Museum of Art to see works by Maurice Utrillo. I was surprised to learn that he started painting while recovering from alcohol addiction. I like his dark colors, but his brighter works were great too.

The online tickets were sold out, so I went to the museum early in the morning to get a same-day ticket🏛️🖼️
I got there around 9:50 a.m., and the ticket I finally got was for entry just an hour and a half before closing

I went to Maker Faire Tokyo 2025🛠️✨️

Last week I went to Kawagoe.
While looking for a cycle port, I found a place where you can try local sake from Saitama.
Loved that you can taste 3 kinds for just 500 yen.

I had a bit of extra time, so I checked the map for some fun spots around Toranomon Hills.
I ended up going to Atago Shrine, then the war museum, and finally headed home from Shimbashi Station.
I enjoyed the museum and it made me want to go back to the UEC's Museum too.

I went to see "Design Ah! Exhibition Neo(デザインあ展 neo)".
The theme was 'verbs.'
I found it really interesting how each action was reinterpreted(?).
Lots of interactive displays too, with a great vibe — very fun.

I went to the fandom event, "The Nihon SF Taikai(Japan SF Convention)" for the first time.
I loved how close the writers and fans were, and it was great to find such a diverse community✨

I heard from someone that it smells like green apples, so I went to try insect cuisine.
It was true.

Yesterday I walked from Aoyama to Daikanyama, then headed home through Ebisu🚶‍♀️
The heat was crazy, and since I haven’t been going out much lately, I got exhausted.
Ended up with sore muscles😅
