Tbh we're not far off from that. CPAC speakers literally said that their goal was to "elimination transgenderism [sic] from public life entirely," and were met with applause. Their rebuttle to criticism was that trans people aren't a real category. Literally dismissed us as "degenerate" category.

THIS. It's been in the open for years and people have kept ignoring trans folk when we brought it up.
