Without being said: this is an AU story I had in mind for quite a while, I’ve just never got to work on it that much due to lack of inspiration or ideas that doesn’t seem to work out for me. Although, Im unsure if I’ll share more of this story, I do want to get working with this.

As much as it hurts to move on; it’s just an occasional thing we will experience in life. But just because a fandom isn’t as active as other community or it been getting less number doesn’t mean that it’s going to die out of thin air. It will come back again, but really — content takes lots of time.

All of this just takes lots & lots of time, and with little content we have so far, I mean — what else can you really do? For some, they still hold it dearly because of how much it changed them, but for others, you’ll end up being bored with the lack of content there is and slowly move on. 3/?

But even then, I don’t think the fandom is doomed to fail, or that we’ll just end up with no ToonTown content. We have news of upcoming content for 2026, and there could be a slim chance that fans could come back, and newcomers could discover this community as well. 2/?

Things weren’t the same as 2023 (which is how I got into this community in the first place), and with the lack on content we did receive over these months, it is hard to accept that many people have moved on from this fandom, and went on to other spaces. 1/?
