Coalition Letter on Reconciliation and Student Basic Needs
The Hope Center for Student Basic Needs led 63 organizations representing a broad coalition of national and state advocates in urging the Senate to reject all provisions of H.R. 1.
If this bill is passed, over 4M students will lose some or all of their Pell Grant—and millions more will lose access to SNAP and Medicaid, causing a rise in student basic needs insecurity.
