honestly it’s even better when i reread it and understood the jokes a lot better than when i was a young teen. Stuff I wasn’t as interested in (like the first intermission) were so much more enjoyable too.

An illustration depicting the Warrior of Light, the hero of Final Fantasy XIV, against a backdrop of prominent locations from each of the games expansions. The Warriors features are vague - they are clad in a dark cloak, riding a chocobo across a grassy hill. Beyond the hill rise the spires of the city of Ishgard, the walls of Ala Mhigo, the city of Kugane, the plains of the Azim Steppe, the lofty Crystal Tower, and the spiralling architecture of Amaurot. The moon looms large in the sky, and the scene is bordered with a golden frame detailed with friends and foes (mostly foes) from the Warriors journey.
