The final of the women’s Copa América between Brazil & Colombia kicks off in ~25 minutes. The two met in the 2022 final (🇧🇷 1-0 🇨🇴) and in this edition’s group stage (0-0).

Why the hatred? The two neighbourhoods of Villa Crespo (Atlanta) and Chacarita border one another. Until 1943 the two clubs’ grounds were separated solely by a fence. When Chaca couldn’t pay their rent, Atlanta bought the land and evicted them.
