I was thinking, though, of the whole church all over the world. Esp. of the 60% of the church in America that isn’t encompassed in those 2 denominations.

It’s epidemic in the church too. In fact, I’m sure the church could survive without it. It would have to become a very different body.

My rector preached today about generosity, which wasn’t bad, but in the process he erased the sin of greed. He said the opposite of generosity is fear (not greed).
