What do leeches eat, other than people?

They're way over the top now, It literally sounds like a war zone, I mean, you can hear the windows vibrating. I suppose the only plus is that casual use is deterred due to the huge expense. It doesn't help animals though, they probably feel like something terrible is happening 😐

I'm glad November 5 is out of the way and associated fireworks/artillery. The cat that visits me daily came bolting in the door when I opened it. She then hid under the table for about four hours. When I had a dog she used to hide behind the TV, animals are really scared by this shit #cats

I'm getting confused about root vegetables now. I thought turnips were white flesh with a stronger flavour, swedes orange. When my family was still a family we used to eat turnips during the holiday season, or was that parsnips?? I don't even know anymore. I think I'll call them neeps in the future

I think he knows, I secretly believe cats control the internet😸 He probably posts awful pics of me sleeping or something😂

An image of a grey cat, looking at the camera, his toy mouse is on the floor, he's alert and waiting for me to throw the toy. He's actually becoming a superb example of a dog-cat, fetch is now a daily thing, as is following me around and sleeping at my feet.

I sneakily took a pic for #caturday, he's tricky this one, doesn't like internet publicity. We were in the middle of a game of fetch, there are many, many, meece around this house, mainly under beds, the couch, and appliances.

Ok, what is a swede called in the U.S? The interweb says "rutabaga", is that right, I've never heard that before, at all?

It's ok, you can taste the carrot and swede, more interesting than regular potato for sure, plus I would never normally eat this combination🙂

It's an hour, I'm often surprised how light it is there when you post.

Turn out Spain is the least nature-connected country on the planet. I am not surprised. It has some stunning nature reserves but the countryside is considered a dirty backyard that can be exploited at will with total disregard to the environment. Industry comes first.

I'm not surprised by this, the UK scores 0, which is accurate. Nature, and the preservation of, is not important to many here. It's very sad, a tragedy, maybe at some point people will realize what's been lost. I'm not sure that younger people will even realize what they've lost.

I tried some swede, carrot, and potato mash last night, it's actually pretty good, admittedly mashed by a machine somewhere and not me. Yes, that's my news 🤔
