Had another sensible conversation at work today about covid and masking. That’s at least 3-4 supportive convos. Maybe people are realising it’s a bad thing. Of course I’m still the only masker 😷😐

Nothing makes me feel like a worse human than when I have to drag my very cute dog through the park away from all the other dogs because she’s behaving like a total psychopath. I swear I am trying to do what’s best for her 🤣

I’m the same. I say I’m avoiding covid. If I want I may say due to my health. But if I get a bad reaction I know this person is not someone I want to have more interaction with 🤷‍♀️

Glad you got to get out and to the beach as well. So nice to just be in nature.

I remember being a teenager when hanging out and posing was seen as so much more important than enjoying that beach. 😆 I used to be the one in the water too. Rashies are great.

Mini break at the beach was a good circuit breaker. Had to avoid a lot of places due to crowds and sick people. I was the only mask freak obvs. But soaked up sunshine, sea air, walked, found excellent gluten free fish and chip shop. Unwound. Got home and dog and I both passed out on couch 🤣

Saw a TikTok yesterday of a burnt looking Aus women saying sunscreen isn’t natural. Hope we don’t go back to the days of everyone getting skin cancer later in life due to sunburn in childhood.

Was at the beach earlier today in 33°C. I was the only person I saw in a cover up, straw hat and sitting in shade. Couple of groups grabbed shady tables. But majority were out in swimmers sitting in baking sun for hours too. I would have been burnt to a crisp if I did that.

Really nice place overall

It all seems so weird to be living like that now. May do another trip one day but can’t relate to this mass consumption and covid huffing.

Having some lunch out. Outside good distance. People at next table are waxing lyrical about all their overseas travels. I feel so far removed from any of that kind of life these days.

Good ventilation at this lunch place. Not many people here either.
