We & our kids are all very familiar with the woman who died in our house. Her name was Carol, she was a smoker, & she loves to come around (non- maliciously)especially when we're prepping for a party. We're acquaintances with her daughter & have had her over. Do we tell her Mom still hangs out here?

We were just talking about this at lunch today! There's so much I've never discussed about what was considered to be "normal male attention" back in the day. Because it was considered normal. So, even though we know now how very wrong & problematic it was, I still feel this weird detachment from it.

Also, I lied before. Statistically speaking, my mother-in-law has way better odds of winning than anyone else. She almost always rolls 2-3 Yahtzees per game!

The game is so-so, but what makes it good is that anyone can play & has just as good a chance of winning as the next person. And it lends itself really well to playing over Zoom. Also the fact that we've named all the Yahtzees after political figures. Also all the extra rules we've added over time!

No, but boy, did I have trouble looking him in the eye at breakfast once we figured out who the snorer was. He was quite a talker, too! And VERY hydrated judging from the size of his enormous water bottle. 😂

Yes! It's almost as bad as when we used to have to answer the phone without even knowing who was calling!
