On Nov 21, NDN Collective and Sacred Storm Buffalo distributed over 5,000 lbs of bison meat to 456 families.

The impact was evident; our elders and households with children severely need support and are directly impacted by the SNAP crisis.

In 2024 alone, with the help of community volunteers, over 70,000 lbs of Kalo (a sacred kānaka ʻōiwi food staple) were processed and sold, directly supporting local farmers. All while cultivating an intergenerational transfer of knowledge for over 5,000 Hawaiian youth.

NDN Collective has been honored to support Kumano I Ke Ala since 2019 through multiple grant programs, including our Community Self-Determination Grant. Their work strengthens land-based practices, nourishes the community, and uplifts the development and leadership of Indigenous peoples.

The Collective Abundance Fund supports the rebuilding of generational wealth while addressing the racial wealth gap among Indigenous individuals and families. The fund was developed by NDN Collective with financial support from the Bush Foundation.

In total, Collective Abundance Fund awardees got over 1,000 acres of LANDBACK and created 173 new jobs or contracts in this first year. Over half of awardees also reported improvement in their household stability or homeownership.
