Companies like PLS want to undo protections for sacred sites across Turtle Island to βdrill baby drillβ but weβre ready and organized.

In 2014, 4 tribes raised $9M to purchase back Peβsla & worked with the federal gov to get the central prayer site & a 2-mile buffer zone into federal trust. This was to recognize the religious and cultural significance of the area and therefore protect it from harmful mining activity like PLS.
