Crews from Poudre Fire Authority and the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office extinguished a 2nd alarm wildland fire northwest of Fort Collins this afternoon. Flames were 15-20 ft. when crews arrived. The fire burned an estimated 17 acres. The cause was accidental and human caused. A citation was issued.
