Below is my email to Joni Ernst: Tax cuts for billionaires do nothing to help your lowa constituents and Trump's tax scam bill is a slap in the face to hardworking lowans. Your recent response to an audience member concerned about the proposed Medicaid cuts - "We're all going to die" - was disgraceful. It was callous and showed just how out of touch with reality you and the MAGA Republican Party are when it comes to the issues. While you and your colleagues enjoy your free government sponsored healthcare, you're all perfectly fine taking healthcare away from the American people. Cutting the benefits of working people to allow the rich to get even richer is shameful. I'm just wondering how you folks sleep at night knowing that the bill you're supporting is hurting your constituents? Do you even care that children will go hungry and without healthcare people will die? It seems like the Republican Party has only one agenda and that is to curry favor with the convicted felon who is masquerading as our president. Your party is ruining this country and you all deserve to be voted out in the midterm elections. I hope the American people wake up before it's too late.
