This shit sucks and yet I'm still drawing.

I don't know if that makes me crazy like Sisyphus or if that means I'm "persevering" for not stopping.

It's somewhat hard to say "I don't care about numbers" because to be honest... I do. It doesn't control my life or schedule, but I do care about numbers.

Being an artist sucks when the algorithm doesn't give you a single chance to grow an audience to share with in the first place.

Perhaps it is a luck based thing with algorithms or whatever...

No matter what social media I post on, no matter the amount or consistency, it ends up like this:

I'm not a lazy artist, I just have so many ideas that I'm overwhelmed to the point that any and all motivation I might have had gets sucked out of me. 😃

So unless you want to assume the Man, Woman, and Kong that we see in Nintendo's Jumpman are distant relatives to the Mario, Pauline, and DK that we know now—which potentially makes Mario and (modern) Pauline cousins because (jumpman) Pauline was Jumpman's supposéd love interest—then, uh... (6/6)

Though he [Yoshi] looks young like the rest of the cast. And Bowser was a child during Yoshi's Island, too (if I remember correctly). (5/6)

And I can dismiss Yoshi's age (slightly), because he's a dinosaur, they can live for centuries. Yoshi is a rather spry dino if he's doing everything he does at an old age. (4/6)

Yoshi has basically known Mario since he was a baby (assuming the green Yoshi we always see is the same one from the Yoshi's Island game, or perhaps is a descendant of that Yoshi—they make eggs all the damn time). (3/6)

How old would that make Cranky Kong (assuming he's still alive in said "Modern timeline")? Because DK doesn't "look old" when Mario & Pauline are adults. (2/6)

I've been thinking about the Mario Universe's nonsensical ass timeline 😭

Because if Pauline met DK as a kid (Bananza) and Mario meets Pauline in Odyssey (seemingly adults of similar age) then how old does that make DK in the "Modern timeline" when they're all adults? (1/6)
