I’m struggling to write something, if that helps…
Come and work with me - I AM DELIGHTFUL…

I expect you're wondering whether other leading politicians have shed tears in the House of Commons before - and more generally about the history of crying in British culture, and what it means.
Good news - there is a book all about it! bbc.co.uk/news/article...
This is a very good essay, & touches on one of the most important convergences between tech-utopianism & fascism, namely the pursuit of homogeneity.
Homogeneity in literature dulls the mind & sharpens the fear by which people become stupid & obedient.
Homogeneity is a gateway to fascism.
Are you working in #VisualMedicalHumanities with a specific focus on art, anatomy and medicine? The BMJ Medical Humanities has just released this CFP for articles on "visuality in medical practice and history". Looking forward to seeing how this moves the field forward!

Unfortunately, due to the heat, we are having to close the museum earlier than usual tomorrow, at 15:00 (last entry at 14:15).
We will be open as usual on Sunday as the weather is set to cool down a little.
Keep an eye on our website and socials for any further updates!
Amazing! I literally just left a careers session at HPS in Cambridge where I explained to a group of PhD students that their ability to process and reflect on large nebulous quantities of information at speed was a skill so desirable the tech-bros are trying to mimic it with LLMs and AI.
