I've been working on some JNJ Part 4 content when I found a plugin for dynamic portraits. Currently they change based on current HP though I plan to expand it in part 4. The current system should be coming in a minor Part 3 update in the near future.

Journeys and Jazz has received a minor update! Seleth and Dreck have more accurate sprites now along with a bestiary being added! There are also a collection of balance changes and some bug fixes.

I should be able to put out an update to Journeys And Jazz very soon. It'll have some neat additions such as a bestiary and new sprites for Seleth and Dreck. I just need to do a final play test to make sure nothing is busted so hopefully it'll be out next Saturday

One of the first things I've been working on for JNJ now that I am resuming development is a bestiary. Currently I am using it to provide some lore about the various enemies in the game.

I will try to keep everyone posted on it so there isn't a long stretch of nothing like there has been.

I've been brainstorming a lot for how to tackle it and I'm also spending time working on a small personal RPG Maker game to test some ideas to potentially use for future JNJ parts.

I know its been quite a long while, life's been keeping me busy sadly.
Anyway, I want to mention that I am hoping to begin working on JNJ Part 4 in the near future.

I want to show off some 3D models I made for this #ScreenshotSaturday. These are low poly plushies of some JNJ characters that will be found in Gift of Pain. I have some more ideas for these so expect more getting posted in the near future! #gamedev #blender

One thing we want for Gift of Pain is to have various different skins for Santa. It's still in the air if they'll be rewards for achievements or just be available from the start but here are some rough drafts of a few ideas.

The slow progress continues sadly. Haven't had the most time to work on things other than an internship I have.

Sorry for no updates yesterday. It was a slow week. Next week I should have a 3D model to show off.

I don't have anything special to show this week but I will say I am starting to work towards getting Part 3 of Journeys and Jazz ready for release. I'm doing some final playtest rounds and cleaning up many typos and adjusting some balancing. This includes some Tezca/Seleth buffs.

This time I want to show off these GBA Fire Emblem styled portraits of made of 2 characters from Journeys and Jazz: The Fruits of the Gods.
They were a blast to make and getting them in game was rewarding. I hope to make more in the future.

No major updates this week.
I was able to get some more playtesting work on JNJ done but I'm still quite far from having it ready to go public. Every playthrough brings attention to more bugs that need to be fixed.

I decided to remake my Santa model from a few weeks ago and I think it's looking a lot better now. I was having a lot of animation issues with the old one but so far, things are going way smoother. #screenshotsaturday #IndieDevs #3dart

I did some more work on my JNJ character sheet creator this week. Mostly fixing bugs but I was able to set it up to allow me to create NPCs for my campaigns in it. I even got a random NPC generator program I made a year or 2 ago to export files that can be loaded in this as well!#screenshotsaturday
