Many thanks, Jenie. The lino blocks were printed onto semi-transparent layers of interfacing, a material commonly used as lining in dressmaking. It’s a beautiful surface to print on and it contributes to the translucent quality of the work.

‘The Daughter of Time’ (1997), my #linocut on fabric, was primarily influenced by René Magritte’s painting ‘The Eternally Obvious’ (1930), which I saw in the flesh for the very first time at the recent #MAGRITTE retrospective at #AGNSW.

Thank you Spencer. That means a lot. I’m in awe of your gardening skills and hope your orange tree thrives in our bizarre Ballarat climate!
