Rosa Parks is one example who dared sit at the front of the bus. People then called her too daring as blacks were killed for doing less.

All the videos we see of ICE/police/military assaulting people on camera are happening because they know they will face no consequences for their actions. They're breaking the law because they believe the law no longer applies to them. What kept them in check before was fear. Now they have none.
