A notification message from the extension page of the Arc browser. The headline is "This extension may soon no longer be supported". The subtitle is "Remove or replace it with similar extensions from the Chrome Web Store". The offending extension is "uBlock Origin".

After seeing this message today, I'm glad that I've already migrated from #ArcBrowser to #Firefox. Using effective ad blockers is a choice made by the user, not by browser companies.

This is so true imo. There are some missing features here and there, but nothing impossible for future releases. It feels like LaTeX without the iceberg of "legacy" decisions from the last 30 years.

i started learning #ElixirLang and i really like the functional programming and fault tolerant aspects. i used a bit of haskell in university, but its use case in production systems wasn't really clear to me (i also have a crippling fear of monads)
