We've shared this story about a giant pie before but as it's British Pie Week we felt it was worth repeating....
This huge pie made headlines across Yorkshire in 1938. The weight of it was blamed on a platform giving way just after the carnival's Beauty Queen, Florence Frost had been crowned!

We're not sure if Sam Battle or This Museum Is (Not) Obsolete are on here but it is SO exciting that this years Eurovision entry has his own museum!
That has taken the old #MuseumsDoEurovision hashtag to the extreme and is the perfect excuse to start using it again.
The old horse party group, lots of people in fancy dress and two people at the back dressed as a horse.
....It's a difficult story to cram into one post! It became a tradition that it would be performed each year until the outbreak of WW2. It did make a brief comeback in the 1990s which is why we have this horses head in our collection #YearOfTheHorse
