Outraged Potato

If hopelessness has made a home in your heart, it cannot be dislodged easily or all at once. Chip away at it with small victories, moments of hope and defiance. It is not easy and it will take time and effort, but strive to make it an uncomfortable home, a place where despair is no longer welcome.

It’s a terrible bill. It will literally kill people. The most vulnerable among us will suffer as the wealthiest benefit. It’s perverse. I wish there were something I could do. But alas, I am only a U.S. Senator from Alaska whose “no” vote would kill the bill. So I voted yes. You get it.

My stomach is sad, my skin is angry, and the government is garbage.

I am hiding down a wiki-hole about mass casualty disasters in Canada which I am SURE will improve things.

Do men put really awful, unattractive photos on their dating profiles in order to not seem like bots? I mean, I guess it’s successful, but it seems like a self-defeating strategy.

Second generation pop culture: children know the reference but don’t know it’s a reference. I said “nevermind” the same way my mom says it, even though I had no idea who Gilda Radnor was. And despite that one phrase, my mother wasn’t particularly a fan.
