Genuinely has anyone *ever* been owned so badly as a man who converts to a new religion as an adult and sorta makes it his whole thing only to see the literal head of that religion rebuke his entire deal and then they choose the NEXT head of the religion specifically because he doesn't like you

I agree with this. And, without defending their political contributions, most people don’t even notice the print.

I play and ref, and ya, seeing it against the white tape helps. That said, it’s much more likely for the glove to matter than the stick, in my experience. I need to see when you cover the puck :)

I can totally see not wanted to support them based on their contributions or views or even the presence of the verse on the wrappers, but I have a hard time understanding this as “shoving” or forcing anybody into anything at all?

Broadly, I agree with you, but I’m genuinely curious how you conclude they are “shoving” their religion with a verse printed on the underside of packaging? Most people don’t even notice it. I also don’t understand your public domain comment. There is no public domain element involved that I can see?

I honestly don’t remember the bug now. I didn’t do the IF guards — my claim to fame was Goblins :) I don’t do any VO at Epic.

Engineer: cup system is tanking perf and the designer won’t accept any implementation changes.

One of my engineers found a bug a couple of days ago, and it was one of those that left us wondering “how many random-looking crash reports has this caused?”

I love seeing this community gaining a huge amount of traction. I don’t think I’ll ever quite get back to involvement I had at the other place, but I really do enjoy this.

I had an ex-Bliz friend who turned into a fountain-pen-pal for a bunch of years, but sadly we stopped :/ Was fun! We always added a postscript that had the identified the pen, ink, and paper.

You have great cursive! I am a sloppy left-handed writer :) I do write with a fountain pen occasionally, and that makes me slow down and write more neatly. Also, I’m a bit of a nerd for ink and stationary.

I remember watching that clip. It’s literally the only time I ever felt bad for Shatner.

Working on Warcraft games was a huge part of my career and my life. Excited for this celebration.

Verse 2.0 by verse

I often think of the alternate dimension where this caught on, and all the game engines adopted it. It was a *really* cool technology demo, that looked like magic at the time.

Some of our work in UEFN right now is improving the reliability of our live editing. Back about 15 years ago there was, coincidentally, a project called the Verse Networking Protocol that started with a network sync protocol for primitives as its lowest layer in the engine. 1/2

Eight years separate Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now" and Alanis Morrisette's "You Oughta Know". My older self is thinking about that period of change that my younger self experienced. Feels like it was *decades*.
