Was talking with the Baldesion discord, DT aesthetics came up. It made me think though, warmachina have always been a thing in XIV, but I wish S9 had brought more medieval into it. Allagan/Eikon aesthetic is Escaflowne, Garlean stuff is Industrial ACs, S9 should have been knightly gundams

A simple headpiece of some night vision goggles inspired by Splinter Cell. I'm playing around with a matching suit inspired by Metal Gear, but this one is compatible with all races/gender whereas that might not be, so it made sense to separate them.

Exact details need revision sometimes, like hemomancy being corrupted white magic isnt viable lore, but there's more than a few enemies who do "blood magic" at this point. The setting has like 3 kinds of vampires that all aren't fleshed out well, so you kinda have to fill in the gaps.

Maybe I do need to get on heliosphere, I make way too many stupid mistakes that I don't notice until hours later. Like not noticing the entire armor files didnt get added because I had them in textools for testing purposes and evidently forgot to click save when I made the modpack. Oops lol.

Updated Void Jumper to 1.2! Pushed out an update yesterday but it was limited since I couldn't test without glamourer.

Fixed that weird ammo pouch strap glitch, it didn't used to do that but its fixed now. Also made those crunchy bolts blend better.

Remade the gloves as well.

If you told me my fav content in DT would have been cosmic exploration idk if I would have believed you. But as a kid I watched so many speculative exo-planet documentaries, I wanted to be an astronaut. Such a love letter that embraces the fantastical about it all.

Hoping the new sets play nice with my desire of making mecha nobility mashups to match the inspiration. In the meantime though I'm going to play around with orbital boarding armored plugsuit vibes. Also adjusted the helmet geometry a bit.

If we ever got something recognizably "modern" I'd want it to be FF'ed like the cryptlurker pistol or FF7, but it's funny to think that's less of a truncation than 19th century rapiers in ishgards late gothic era aesthetic. The world wars played a big role in gun tech developing that much of course.

One of the goofier thought experiments towards XIV lore I have: an OC on the first could get access to an actual literal earth AK through obsolete resistance android gear. Even without neir, it was invented by one guy within a lifetime of novrandts pistol tech which is turn of the century 20th.
