Obie, a tiny mailman, stands in the palm of Cherie's hand, pointing at a clipboard. He says, " - so if you'll just sign here, ma'am, I can give you your package and be out of your hair!"

Cherie holds up a brush and says, "Well... it's a bit small, but I can try with my detail brush..." She makes a spiral mark on the page as Obie says, "Any mark will work! An "X" even!" He thinks to himself, "oh my god I'm free I did it I'm done". Cherie asks, "So where is this package, Mr. Mailman?" Obie points off the side of her hand and replies, "Oh, I dropped it when you were chasing me earlier."

A long shot shows the package in the foreground and Cherie at a distance. Obie says, "Over there in the doorway." Cherie replies, "That little box?" "Yeah," Obie responds. A foot descends and crushes the box while Cherie reacts in surprise.

Rowen stands in the doorway bracing himself against the frame with one hand while he holds up his foot to check the underside, where the package has stuck. He mutters, "What did I step on...?" to himself. Cherie glares at Obie, who turns to her and says, "...do you think that counts as a successful delivery?"

Obie, a tiny mailman, pulls himself through a window left open a crack, saying, "A'ight, I'm not getting past that broad. Let's see where this gets me." He peers over the window ledge and says, "At least there's somewhere soft to land." With that, he drops down to the bed below, landing with a POOMF on a pillow.

Obie slides down the pillow and runs across the sheets. He mutters to himself, "Okay - find a high place, get her attention..." Someone off panel snorts, then yawns hugely, and Obie looks up as a shadow falls over him.

Rowen, who was asleep in the bed, rubs his eye and mumbles. Obie stands staring up at him in shock.

Rowen pulls his blanket up and rolls over. Obie finds himself directly in the way and says softly to himself, "Oh. Oh. No no no no." Rowen's belly steamrolls him with a WHUMPF, and all Obie can do is let out a muffled whimper.

loop 12... obie gets fed up of trying the front door and finds an alternate entrance, a window that's been left open a crack. he meets rowen for the first time! that doesn't go well either.
