No I'm here for it lol. Our first VHS player was a 1981 Ferguson Videostar 3v23. It was an absolute unit and lasted into the 90s. The relatively small size of the tape slot shows how huge it was.

This is what video gaming looked like during the summer I was born, and how awesome it looked.

A little sad I didn't experience this first hand, but glad it was still within my life time.

There is conspicuously little mention of the PS1's hardware capabilities and software portfolio.

Newly scanned from us: an ad from the trade magazine Videogame Advisor (November 1995), which has Sega vainly telling retailers not to support PlayStation, right after the PS1 famously undercut the Sega Saturn
