Tony Hawkโs Pro Skater 4
My favourite Tony Hawk game. The open map structure led to some great missions with special set-ups and Jango Fett's moves were incredibly good fun.

Swingerz Golf / Ace Golf
Despite the colourful characters, it's a surprisingly standard game of Golf.

X-Men: Next Dimension
A decent fighting game featuring X-Men. It uses two analogue sticks AND the D-pad for movement.

Mario Party 4
The minigames are really good quality, but the boards are the dullest they've been so far. It's neat that the story mode has unique minigames.

Speed Challenge: Jacques Villeneuveโs Racing Vision
The ultimate vision for the future of F1: slowly racing in cities with huge holographic advertisements across the entire track.

TimeSplitters 2
A brilliant shooter with a great campaign, varied levels, fun weapons, amazing multiplayer, an in-depth map maker and a wonderful challenge mode. One of the best.

Casper: Spirit Dimensions
A 3D platformer game where you can fly everywhere. Lots of shooting, puzzles and searching. The GameCube version has a much improved control scheme over other ports.

Robotech Battlecry
A good representation of the show, with a ship you can transform into a jet, mech or in-between whenever you want. Each mission is entirely focused on one transformation, though, with not much room for you to experiment.

Backyard Football
It still has the complicated rules of American Football, it's just very slow and very open due to very few players per team.

Namco Museum
The highlight of this collection are the "Arrangement", with Pac-Man Arrangement being a immensely fun version of Pac-Man. There's a few usual suspects thrown in as well.

Knockout Kings 2003
The main game is pretty much the same as the previous year, but this was exclusive to the GameCube, which didn't get the previous one. It also has an additional arcade mode which is good fun.

NBA Live 2003
A really fun basketball game with a camera that works really well with the action.

Mat Hoffmanโs Pro BMX 2
An alright Tony Hawk clone, but even Activison can't recreate Neversoft's spark. Every level is also a small city block, with no flow or lines.

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee
Loads of buildings to destroy and plenty of kaiju to choose between. The army tries to attack you both, but they're inconsequential.

NBA 2K3
It's the same as the previous basketball sim, with a couple of bug fixes and some roster changes.

Pro Rally
A recent racing game with off-looking graphics - it's at the point where they look really nice, but create an odd sensation due to how static everything looks.

Taz Wanted
A decent platformer, but filled with enemies that are more of an annoyance than a challenge. Taz's movement is really fun, though.

Largo Winch: Empire Under Threat
A point & click adventure based on the Belgian comic book. Has an intriguing story, although many puzzles are annoying and Largo's voice actor is atrocious.

Rayman Arena
The opening cutscene shows a thrilling race that can turn into a brawl at any moment. The actual game is two separate modes: a dreadful shooter and a pretty much on-rails racer.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2
A fun racing game with plenty of action thanks to cops trying to stop you.

NHL 2003
The full size rink makes the game feel slow, but it's still an enjoyable Ice Hockey game.

Immortal Meijin VI
A shogi game that has a nice interface and shows you possible moves. You can also flip the board at will, so both players in a 2-player game can have it in their preferred orientation.

Rocket Power: Beach Bandits
A decent platformer mixed with an alright extremely sports game. Not bad for a kids licensed game.

4ร4 Evo 2
On top of horrendous controls and physics, everything in the game feels like it was made for completely different games. This would look bad if it were an N64 game.

Star Fox Adventures
While it had the potential of being something truly special, it still ended up being a great Zelda-style game with a fascinating world.

NASCAR Thunder 2003
I had more fun with this than expected. Lots of customisation in how the game handles, from simulation to more arcade-like. Using this with more interesting tracks would have made for a great racing game.

Disney Sports Skateboarding
A wonky skateboarding game that has such a broken special move mechanic that doing fancy tricks is a bad idea. It also has an insane number of collectables. At least this one remembered that Max exists.

Monsters, Inc. Scream Arena
An arena fighter where you pelt each other with dodgeballs because...apparently it's the funniest thing ever? Awful controls and you just grab and throw as quickly as possible to win.

Kelly Slaterโs Pro Surfer
Adapts the core Tony Hawk's gameplay well. However, every wave forms around you and acts the same, making it feel very repetitive.
