Practically the whole state is solid Republicans. And the state is close to bankruptcy. And everything to the west of Omaha and Lincoln has the stink of “dying rural small town” and “farmers who don’t grow actual food”. The state’s population is a shambling zombie that refuses to accept it’s dead.

No, this is because the migrants who operated the plant have disappeared because of the ICE raids and facility being built nearby. Nebraskans want to PROFIT off of migrants, but not accept them as human beings.

They deserve this. 60-80% of Dawson county voted for Trump in 2024. The beef ranchers, the people living in Lexington, all of them deserve to watch their small town waste away because they were too stupid or selfish to NOT vote for Trump, against their own interests.

Only because the legislature didn’t plan ahead and that it isn’t 100% Republican. They tried though. And it was only ONE electoral vote besides. The “blue dot” in Omaha (and Lincoln), where I live, is pretty much symbolic anyway. Most of Nebraska DID vote for this. They deserve this.
