I have a friend going on hospice. She’s only 48 and has Appendiceal cancer (very rare it’s what Audrey Hepburn died from). It really shakes your sense of security, faith, and perspective on life. Her ordeal has been very hard, the worst I’ve ever witnessed. TBH I feel existential dread.
