Itโs about time!
On September 27, 2015, a total lunar eclipse occurred during a supermoon, also known as a "blood moon".
I took this photo at Chinook Pass on Hwy 410 WA 09/27/2015 @7:41pm

Tahoma Creek Suspension Bridge, Mt Rainier National Park, WA.
Very similar construction to your bridge except for the steel towers on this one. There are two nearly identical bridges like this in Mt Rainier NP and yes, they can be a lot of fun to cross, especially in windy conditions!

Bison should be allowed to roam free and cattle should be restricted to private land.
All abandoned barbed wire should be removed from public land.
The money today being wasted on public lands grazing should go into building wildlife overpasses and installing wildlife safe guide fencing.

This is part of my series of photos of the 2017 total eclipse. It was shot with a 300mm with a solar filter until totality, then the filter was removed to reveal the sunโs corona.

I soon moved up to the D300, then waited until the D800e came out. That was my last buy, now, with everyone going mirror less, I think Iโll give up on new cameras, and buy great used lenses for my DSLRโs at bargain prices.
Maybe, but Iโll have #17 on white bread please! ๐
Actually the d200 was a 2005 release with a 10.2-mega pixel APS-C sensor. It was my first digital camera, replacing my F100 film camera, I never looked back!
Thanks, this was shot 08/22/2008
The photos were shot using a hyperfocal distance table. So for this shot, using my D200 with a 14-24mm lens @14mm using an aperture of f/13 I focused about two to three feet into the scene thus assuring sharp focus from front to rear. Manual mode exposures @ 1/10sec , .4sec and .8sec.
This photo is composite of three photos taken in succession to be able to cover the dynamic range of the scene with my Nikon D200. It was taken ten minutes after and at 90ยฐ to my previously posted โSunrise at Reflection Lakeโ photo.

I took the photo on the East Alta-Vista trail above Myrtle Falls, near Paradise.
Great capture of a beautiful scene!
You just never know who or what you might encounter while hiking! A very wet young Black Bear on the hiking path at Mt Rainier National Park.
