Friendships/ Communities are not transactional they are reciprocal.
Transaction = Put something in, get something of equal value immediately. comes with expectations
Reciprocal = Put effort, love compassion in and slowly over time receive the support you need in times of need. Just Care.
Little Charcoal scared us for a bit but after the vet, meds and a week of snuggles and close watch he is feeling much better.
Do what you can, advocate for the rest. There is so much power in community around us. Care for all, don't tolerate the intolerance of those wanting power or are stuck in hatred or passiveness.

Especially in capitalism where we are seen as only valuable for labour.

Remember you will not be capable of all the good the world needs right now, but this world needs all the good you are capable of.
So spread that love, compassion and care for community and self.
Value those that society sees no value in and demonises

I think this depends on what you mean.There are certain things that some people will live through based on societal bias such as cultures and to be queer and the boxes others place you in. But there are no monoliths in those things as much as society lumps us all together to fit a narrative.
