Americans like my husband, too (he and I are also your constituents), who has Long COVID. We are facing some VERY hard times if aid is cut. I hope NY State can step in as it has sometimes done in the past to help if certain federal aid is reduced.

It would. But I hate this format. I hated it on that other platform that was like this (but evil), too. Character limits? Public posts? Not what I'm after. I also find comment threads here really hard to follow. All these things together are just not conducive to the kind of communication I want.

I never got on Threads. I like FB's post and reply format a lot better than other social media, and it lets me keep in touch with people I'd otherwise not be in touch with, but I have such a love-hate relationship with FB in general - and no love for Zuckerberg himself, or the stinking algorithm.
