I was inspired by a burnt out light bulb and tried something a bit different.
Personal oil painting project I started in 2025, finished in early January 2026. I painted two previous versions. It evolved through interactions with students, other artists, friends and family.

(This was a joint effort between myself & my spouse. We brainstormed together and the idea of the gummie dino eating Christmas trees was his brilliant idea. Fun! I digitally edited & repainted my Gummie Bronto Snack Time oil painting).

Ink washes and linework (I drew with a metal nib dip pen).
This piece went through a few versions where I paused thinking, "I like it. I don't want to mess it up".
Then I got into the headspace of, "what do I have to lose?"
I'm glad I kept trying different things.
