posting the stockholm roundup here too, i did the best i've ever done this weekend in vgc!! i finished 10th (top 16) and played a set on stream and WON vs an incredibly decorated player, i was over the moon. i had such a good weekend and this result puts me in really good stead for worlds!!!!

in short, i love my life, i love my friends and i can't wait to see where 2025 takes me. i've been so happy and fulfilled these past few months especially and i imagine this will continue for the whole year. 💜

this is a bit rambly but wah i just had a great year and wanna talk about it

okay and ALSO i've done so much with spoons group this year! 2 big con trips to sunnycon and mcm, day trip to edinburgh for my birthday, trip to warrington to see lauren, countless trips all around the north east the place for meals, doughnuts, drinks, and just general hangouts. i love my friends!!!

then just these past few months in october/november i went to france solo then to poland with a big group!!! travel has been such a big part of my year and its been amazing getting to see so many different countries, thank you pikachu. here's some cool photos of sweden and poland.

i kept going to locals and made many more friends, then ended up going to freaking sweden to play pokemon??? it was my first time abroad in many many years and it was so fun!! i'm very thankful to decy for coming along with me so i was not scared on the plane (it was actually okay).

okay i have settled into 2025 now, i think that 2024 was one of the best years of my life. my year was shaped a lot by pokemon vgc, i started going to more locals in january and went to my first regional in quite awhile in liverpool, had a lot of fun!! my performance was meh but i made great friends
