Today, Cleveland City Hall lowered its flag to half-staff in honor of the late Rev. Jesse Jackson.

A towering figure in the Civil Rights Movement, Rev. Jackson dedicated his life to advancing justice, equality, and opportunity for all.

We want to recognize the incredible work of the Cleveland Division of Police in helping a woman in crisis who walked onto the ice-covered Lake Erie.

With cold temperatures and a winter storm expected this weekend, the Division of Recreation is operating Warming Centers across the city. If you need a warm place to stay, please come in. All Clevelanders are encouraged to prepare ahead and stay safe this weekend.

As a result of the anticipated temperatures this week, the City of Cleveland will operate warming centers on January 14-15 and January 18-20 from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
