Access to both healthcare and education is fundamental to the success of our students and the long-term vitality of our communities. Today, Mayor Bibb joined Metro Health and CMSD for the grand opening of three new health clinics in John Marshall High School.

Last week, the City celebrated the ribbon-cutting of 89th Rising, a project that adds 48 new rental units to East 89th Street in Fairfax. In the #ClevelandERA, we remain committed to investing in our neighborhoods and supporting more high-quality housing projects such as this.

Happy Labor Day! Today, we celebrate the invaluable contributions of the workers who have built our city and our nation.

City Hall will reopen on Tuesday, September 2.

We have revived the Fair Employment Wage Board, which is now operational for the first time in 20 years. This October, the Pay Transparency Law will go into effect.

As Labor Day approaches, we honor labor’s role in building Cleveland.

Mayor Bibb met with youth from Recreation’s AAU Basketball program’s 9th-grade team, who recently won a major AAU tournament. One player, Qwayland Howard, received an offer from CSU. We’re proud of our rec programs, which expose youth to great opportunities!

Our thoughts are with the friends and family of Donald and Maria Nunney, as well as the entire CMSD community.

City Hall hit the streets last night for a safety walk. We value resident feedback and connecting neighbors to city services, such as #CLE311, which help improve the quality of life for everyone in our city.
