What does it say that the citizens allow it? Perhaps the USA has never been honorable and greed and gluttony for one's self isn't just relegated to the leaders. Perhaps we all need to re-evaluate our values.

And yet many cling to the belief that there will be free and fair elections in the good old US of A. They are telling, you and showing you that the results of elections no longer matter. They intend to stay forever.

If Johnson is refusing to swear in a duly elected member of the House now, that doesn't bode well for the mid term elections.

Before we throw around the 3.5% rule- That number is a result of success, not the recipe. A single day of protest, no matter how massive is rarely enough. Here is what Erica Cheneweth's research actually says it takes:

The movement must create durable parallel institutions:
Distributed leadership: councils and networks that can't be decapitated by one arrest.
Logistics and welfare: Systems of food, mutual aid and legal support for strikers and protesters.
Secure communication: independent channels to bypass state propaganda and coordinate.

Orchestrate non cooperation: A regime falls when its machinery breaks.
General strikes: the ultimate weapon, halting transport, energy, and finance paralyzes the state.
Bureaucratic sabotage: civil servants, losing files and slowing orders grinds governance to a halt.
Consumer boycotts. Targeted economic pressure on regime cronies.

Cultivate defectors: Systematically this is a deliberate strategy
Appeal to patriotism: urge security forces to protect the nation, not the ruler
Guarantees of safety: public, credible promises of amnesty and a place in the future for defectors
Reach their families: assure them their loved ones will be safe and provided for

Win the narrative war:
A compelling vision: be For something (democracy, justice) not just against the dictator
Counter propaganda: de-bunk state lies rapidly and credibly
Document everything: record atrocities to undermine regime legitimacy and build international pressure.

Build international support:
Forge connections with foreign governments, NGOs, and media to apply diplomatic and economic pressure on the regime while legitimizing the movement.

All that to say GET ORGANIZED and FOCUS ON THE INFRASTRUCTURE, not the numbers.
