Stage 1: "Sketch looks great, this'll be brilliant."
Stage 2: "This is the worst thing I, or anyone, has ever drawn. I should be punished for even looking at a pencil."
Stage 3: "It's grand, actually. Mostly fine."

And every single time, I forget.
