We will still process in the parade if it is raining, however, if there is lightning we will need to delay.

Hero Coffee Bar will have two special Disability Pride Parade drinks available this weekend! 10% of sales on these drinks will be donated to the parade.
Hero Coffee Bar is located at 439 S Dearborn St., which is near the starting point for the parade! They also have accessible bathrooms.

There will be a seating tent at Daley Plaza for masked folks to gather, rest, & view the performances while surrounded by other masked folks.
We recommend that everyone wear a mask to protect the vulnerable in our community.

Metra will undergo construction the weekend of the Disability Pride Parade.
Those with accessibility needs who are taking Metra Electric need to exit at McCormick Place - this will be the ONLY accessible downtown station. There will be an accessible shuttle bus from McCormick to Milennium Station.

This area will be a less bright, less loud, & less crowded inside a CTA bus parked alongside Daley Plaza.
Ear plugs, fidgets, & activities like crosswords & coloring will be provided.
Our 2025 Chicago Disability Pride Parade Grand Marshal is MOPD Commissioner Rachel Arfa.
Commissioner Arfa is a visionary and transformative leader. Arfa was the first deaf person to serve as a member of a Mayorβs Cabinet nationwide.
