I’ve been involved in negotiations where I was not in a position of strength. For anyone to suggest Dems could have gotten everything tells me they’ve never been in that position.

This situation isn't going to matter in 2 weeks. Republicans are going to do plenty of awful things between now and next November. Plus, they are going to try to cheat their way to victory in the midterms. All your anger towards Dems (as misplaced as I believe it is) will find its proper place.
