Inside the craft, A Squishy by a window reports to Quallen "Mr. Quallen, Sir! The landlife are still following us!" Quallen, at his seat, turns his head to the Squishy and growls "Ugh… these fuzzballs are PERSISTENT!" Quallen mumbles under his breath "And I thought cats were supposed to hate water…"

Quallen grabs the microphone attached to his seat and exclaims "ATTENTION, BELLSPIDER CREW! THE ENEMY IS APPROACHING. INITIATE OFFENSE, IMMEDIATELY!" Inverters in the pilot room respond "Yes, Mr. Quallen, Sir!"

Outside, the BellSpider launches out torpedos. The torpedos start propelling towards Cyder and Nixie. Cyder thinks to himself "So they want to play, huh?"

Cyder and Nixie dodge and swim out of the way of the oncoming torpedos.

BELOW THE WAVES: Starring Cyder Rock Spaniel The top panel shows a calm ocean. In the bottom panel, a massive hovercraft suddenly soars on top of the water, making a loud SWOSH sound.

Cyder, Joggin, and Nixie are chasing the hovercraft on a jetboat. "Faster, Joggin!" shouts Cyder, standing on the boat's side. "We can't lose them!" Joggin, driving the boat, responds "Sorry, the Bluebird can only go so fast!" Nixie, on the otherside of the boat, exclaims "Well it can't go fast enough!"

The hovercraft in the distance begins to sink below the waves. "Oh great!" proclaims Joggin, "They're going into the water!" Nixie is stretching her arms out, responding "Then I will, too! Come on, Cyder! Let's jump in and catch them!" Cyder, now with a scuba tank and goggles on, exclaims "Alright! Let's Dive!"

Nixie and Cyder diving into the ocean, with the startled fish swimming away.

How did Onyx learn or obtain her powers?

The gang gets surrounded by Animate. “Oh no… more of them!” Shrieks Zachary. “What do we do?!” Mikayla boldly replies “Well, clearly in a concurring situation like this, there is only one solution…”

“RUUUUNNNNNN!!!” The team runs out of the room through the tunnel. Vlinder is riding on top of Mikayla, while Zachary carries Hex.

Everyone escapes the cave, falling onto the ground with a thud.

Mikayla stands up proudly holding the goodies she kept. “Now I would say that little expedition was a solid success. Wasn’t it, fellas?” She says. Zachary kneels in the ground while Hex lays exhausted on the ground in front of him. He ask her “Why does Mikayla always seem to get us into trouble?” She responds “Mikayla IS trouble, Zachary…” Vlinder is knocked out on the side.

An Animate golem surprises Mikayla, who in shock drops her findings. “Look out, Mikayla!” shouts Hex and Zachary off-screen. “It’s an Animate!”

Vlinder throws stinky fruit at the golem, screaming “GRAAAH!!! BACK, BACK, BADDIE!!!”

Hex fires a magic projectile at the golem, chanting “By the power of the MagiStones… Magisch Schot!”

Zachary and Mikayla lunge at the golem. Zachary exclaims “I can’t let you hurt my friends!” He and Mikayla holler “TAAAAKE THIS!” And destroy the golem in unison.

The door begins to open as yellow light emerges from the otherside. Zachary says “Look! The door is opening!” Mikayla proclaims “Attaboy there, Ms. Witmaan! Now that was one good use of that little noggin of yours!” Vlinder shouts in excitement “Yay! Goodies! Yum, Yum, Yum, Yum!” Meanwhile, the MagiStones the team placed are sinking into the pedestals. Hex in shock responds “Gah! My MagiStones!”

The team walks into the new chamber. Hex is upset over losing her items. “I worked hard to find those MagiStones” she says. Zachary, by her side, tries to comfort her. “Don’t worry, Hex! We can probably find more…” Mikayla and Vlinder and standing in awe over something. “Woah….” Mikayla says.

The room is full of various lost artifacts. Hex and Zachary look in amazement, while Vlinder and Mikayla make a run into the room. Mikayla boldly shouts “Wow-wee! Those Casters have been hoarding a whole lotta cool junk!”

In the first panel, Hex reads an old scroll while Zachary holds an ancient staff. In the second panel, Vlinder is eating away at some preserved vegetation. In the final panel, Mikayla is carrying some artifacts and gleefully exclaims “A relic haul like this ought to make my Knight status look…” However, the eyes of a stone figure behind Mikayla begin to glow purple.

The crew walks into the cave, with Hex using her staff to light the way with a Fire MagiStone. She and Zachary are scared, holding each other, while Vlinder and Mikayla walk beside them.

The team walks by a mural of figures casting magic with MagiStones. Zachary asks “Are… are those Casters?” Hex replies “Maybe? But why would Casters come here?” Mikayla boldly claims “This was very likely a secret base! And a very likely secret base means some very likely secret goodies are lurking within it!” Vlinder shouts “Goodies?! Ooooo…. Yum, Yum, Yum!”

The team come across a giant door with a magic crest on it. Mikayla exclaims “Well, would you look at that big beast! Strong betcha that’s where the secret goodies are gonna be hiding!” Zachary responds “Okay but… how do we get inside?” Hex notices pedestals with magic markings on them and takes out a Plant MagiStone. “More markings?” She asks. “I wonder…”

Zachary puts down a Snow MagiStone into the Snow pedestal. The text “SERENE SNOW” is on his panel. Mikayla slams down a Fire MagiStone into the Fire pedestal. The text “FIERCE FIRE” is on her panel. Hex places a Plant MagiStone into the Plant pedestal. The text “PRISTINE PLANT” is on her panel.

Hex and Zachary are walking through a path in the forest, holding each other’s hands. Hex says “Wow, Zachary. The forest looks so pretty today!” Zachary replies “Yeah, Hex! So nice and…”

Vlinder suddenly lands out of nowhere onto Hex, shouting “GAAHRUUUU!!!!” Zachary, after he and Hex lose grip of each other, is in shock. He exclaims “Wha?! Vlinder?!”

Mikayla arrives onto the path, and in the distance shouts “Hey, ya little lovebirds! We’ve been running and looking all around these woods just to find the two of ya!” Zachary, now fallen on the floor, replies “Mikayla?! What do you want?” Vlinder, standing on top of a fallen dazed Hex, exclaims “Big Cave! Come See!”

Mikayla shows the crew a cave entrance, stating “Check it! Me and the Wild Girl happened to have stumbled upon an old cavern that looks MIGHTY interesting!” Hex notices a magic symbol etched into the rock, and remarks “A magic crest? Have Casters been here?” Zachary, with Vlinder next to him, replies to Hex “Guess there’s only one way to see…”

Kids hailing from the Magic Triad, a trio of countries in a medieval fantasy world. Clockwise from Bottom: HEX WITMAAN: Quiet but energetic, Hex uses magic to benefit mankind. She trains to be versatile in both battle and everyday life! ZACHARY IJSBLAD: The son of Vorst Peak’s mountain scouts. He’s afraid of just about everything besides the cold, but that won’t make him abandon his friends! MIKAYLA VUURBLOEM: This fiery redhead’s dreams of being a valiant knight. Brave & smart, but a bit too quick-wit and eager for her own good. PENT DÄMMERUNG: She vows as a Caster to protect her loved ones. A troubled life as a child has made her polite, but distant to strangers. HORNET LUCHTGROND: Youngest of the Luchtgrond archer family, he’s got a sharp aim and a snarky attitude. He means well in the end. VLINDER: Abandoned in the woods of Steenhart, she survives in the wild life. But recently, she has gained a curiosity of the civilized world.

Galactic Androids: A large line of machines built by Star Union, each unit designed for specified assignments. Robots are the only humanoids in their known universe. Clockwise from Bottom Left: GAL-XE: Combat Android. A headstrong soldier that is a force to be reckon with on the battlefield, but she’s a gentle giant to her GA brethren. GAM-DS: Demolition Android. Large and in charge with his power demolition skills, with a personality as fun and explosive as his dynamite. GAM-TC: Conduit Android. The brooding force that shocks all with his electrical coil arm, but this stoic droid stands by his brothers’ sides. GAL-SN: Sniper Android. Her sniper rifle and deadly aim ensure no escape from targets. Not much emotion besides a mathematical language. GAL-ME: Espionage Android. Infiltrates enemy lines with stealth, camouflage, and high agility. She’s a real sweetheart around everyone! GAM-HK: Expedition Android. Built to conquer the toughest of terrain with his grapple claws. Easy to startle, but a humble, friendly droid.

Star Union: The galaxy-wide space federation of many civilizations, formed to ensure peace and prosperity is kept across its interstellar reach. No organic species, civil or otherwise, are humanoid in the known universe.
