This image is a base64 hardcoded in the markup and gets marked 100% of the time as LCP element <1s. I wish we could flag and fix this so folks actually focus on building the right thing

Do we know why this random website I cam across is getting LCP fired for a transparent 300x300 image while actual images load later in the timeline.
I thought LCP was designed to skip transparent images

Will it continue to use 3G as its default? I am not sure if it makes sense for everyone anymore
